Skyline Drive Oct 06

With the leaves at peak, we headed down to Skyline Drive. Unlike last year - we skipped the lines at the north entrance of the park and entered 40 miles south near Luray. Then we drove to the Whiteoak Canyon trail and dragged Nori through that. Actually - she did quite well - other hikers remarked at how surprised they were that a small dog could hike through the hilly and rocky areas with such ease.

Stream to us - but a very large water bowl to Nori. She make frequent stops along the way for water breaks.
I get this look a lot from Tina.
I have 100 more like this - Nori has the exasperating ability to know when I want her to look at me. Being a Terrier - she does the opposite.
That was the best pose I could get out of the dog. There were other people around - so she really turned on the "abused dog made to pose for pictures" look.

The 35 MPH speed limit is just a suggestion.
